Darton in the Desert

While Aaron was speaking to the whole Israelite community, they looked toward the desert, and there was the glory of the LORD appearing in the clouds. Exodus 16:10

After been deprived of any moisture for months at a time, the desert was being drenched with rain. Our team had it on our hearts
to pray for rain, so we did. For five days. After a spirit filled team night, our prayers were answered and the desert was replenished – families
had water and nourishment for their family, farms and livestock. We experienced this miracle as we were ministering to the desert families.
After breakfast each morning, we would trek through the desert to visit a local family. A typical day would include conversation, tea, soccer
with the kids, a meal, showing love to the family and sharing God’s word with them.

This is God moving in Argentina.

Hola! I have just returned from a ten month mission trip in Mexico, Argentina and Chile. Through this experience, I have come to know
God on a level where I can now confidently call Him Father, King, Saviour and Friend. This trip gave me direction in life, and I am now
confident in what God is saying for me to do in my life: “Minister in Latin American countries and take God’s love to the desert people”.

In obedience, I accept.
Come May 20th, I leave back to Chile. First required: learn the language. I will be spending five months at a Spanish Evangelism School.
Following that, I will be joining YWAM (Youth With A Mission) as staff on their base in Mendoza, Argentina for two years. This is where
I will be carrying out desert ministry: taking the gospel and God’s love to people in the dessert, who are living in isolation and poverty. I
want to invite you to prayerfully consider partnering with me in this ministry.

Please pray for:

1. My family’s salvation (my mother -Brenda; my step dad -Gerry; my siblings -Casandra, Dakota, Raylin.
2. The desert families -that they will come to know Christ
3. My ability to learn Spanish quickly and effectively.
4. $2,500 for initial costs (flight, Spanish school, room and board)
5. $300/month after that for living costs per month for the two years I’ll be serving there
These people need to know that God cares for them despite the loneliness, isolation and poverty, and with your support I can be that vessel.
